New Treatment for Cancer Shows Early Promise…
A new cancer treatment has shown such early promise that scientists believe in two years they may be able to treat all cancers more effectively. Preliminary research done by the biotech company Alnylam on their new ALN-VSP therapy shows that the therapy is able to stop cancer cells from forming the blood vessels that feed the cancer tumors. The treatment works by preventing the tumors from making the proteins that make forming the blood vessels possible.
